I always thought those commercials with the mom trying to figure out how to get the stains out of her kid’s shirts were a bit of an exaggeration. I don’t think that anymore.
Wow. Fun day at school with extended recess= lots and lots of stain stick applied all over this white shirt. 🙂 I think I will only buy navy shirts when Mack starts school.
Make sure you buy the Shout Gel thing with the bristly brush applicator. Works better than ANYTHING ELSE out there! Even gets out washed and dried in Chapstick, ink, spaghetti stains, red popsicles, etc., etc.. Speaking from personal experience. I’ve even taken Before and After pictures because it works so good.
thanks for the advice, rebekah! i have a lot of spaghetti/ravioli stains!
I have used the Shout Gel and I agree that it’s great. I also like the Dreft stain spray…you would think something that is supposed to be gentle for babies would not work, but it does…even on old stains…
My grandma can get ANY stain out and she taught me to rub tide or wisk on a stain and then sit it out in the sun (although there hasn’t been any sun out the past few days) and then wash it. Whatever you do, don’t dry anything after you’ve washed it if the stain is still there-that just sets it in
