May is a wildly busy month. I am going to use my photos to wrap it up as best as I can, seeing how we’re already a week into June🤪
That letterboard speaks the truth. Rolo loves me most. Mack is all 14 year old boy. And Ruby sang in the Arts Recital at school.
I tried a hydration drip after a couple of weeks of sickness at our house. I think it helped me feel better. May was unusually cold. Molly and Ruby hosted high school girls five or six Tuesdays in a row. And Mack and his fourteen year old self has a lot of hair.
Rolo slept a lot in May. The girls had a cereal bar at their Tuesday night get together. And our Sunday School class delivered casseroles to a couple.
Ruby got an award for Christian Service and Mack got the Bible Award for 8th grade. I think he thinks that award covers a multitude of sins. And while I am proud of him, he still needs to do his chores. Molly shared in chapel and sang a song she wrote and the vice principal emailed to tell us how great she did! Super proud of these three as they wrapped up 11th, 10th and 8th grade.
We drove to Knoxville, Tennessee for my friend’s son’s wedding. And I loved being there so much!! It was a quick trip but worth every minute!
We (and when I say we I mean me) gave Ruby’s room a makeover. There’s still a little work to do but I’m well on my way. I gave Ruby my desk and chair from my office. I just never spent any time in there. It was sort of sad but I was happy to now have an extra bed upstairs. It’s a tight space—however, I love the quaintness of it. Mack almost didn’t make it through that last week of school. He stayed exhausted. First day of school vs Last day of school 2020/21
Ruby celebrated turning 17 and I didn’t get any photos of the kids. But they were a great group of super sweet friends.
Mack got a haircut on the last day of school.
Josh and I got to attend KLove fan awards in Nashville. It was fun! I loved seeing all the artists and watching them perform. But by far, I was star struck by Jesus (from The Chose ) being in the room. I videoed him more than anyone else. 🤣
I tried on my wedding dress 20 years later and it still fits. Whew. But really, who cares if it does or does not?!? Mack got braces!!!! Rolo still loves me most. And Josh gets the strangest deliveries.
And though I’m dipping into my June photos at this point, we hosted a shower for Ashley and Noah. Noah cracked us up by staying and opening the gifts. He is a great gift giver and gift receiver! We are excited for their marriage!!! Less than 20 days away now❤️
