CHRISTMAS PAST Christmas Party

Friday night Josh and I went to our Sunday School Christmas party.  It was so much fun!  Our party planning committee did a FABULOUS job…the decorations were wonderful, the food was yummy, and everyone had a great time.  We raised over $1,000 for the Holly Park Mobile Home Park by participating in a silent auction.  We brought home some great gifts…an apologetics Bible for Josh, a two week membership to the Coffee Park for me and the kids, a gift card to THREE SISTERS, a race car for my dad, Jersey Mikes picnic baskets,  a monogrammed candle….fun!  We dressed crazy.  I am not sure we were in a certain era.  It was just plain ugly.  Ruby told me (about my hair) that she really liked the hills in it….haha!  I borrowed a friend’s crimper from way back and it worked beautifully or ugily, just like it was supposed to.  And then, in the car before we left the house, Josh ran back inside to get our camera, and Ruby said, “Mom, tell Daddy to leave that shiny sweater in the car when he goes into the nursery.”  She was going to be embarrassed about the sweater, but not the yellow pants and white shoes???   She told Josh she really liked my sweater. (It must have weighed ten pounds!)  Too funny.  And, of course, I can’t leave Jason out.  He dressed similarly to Josh except his pants were several sizes too small.
